Course Overview

Having a formalised management system for managing energy is essential if the full benefits of energy management are to be realised. In 2011 ISO introduced ISO50001 (Energy Management Systems) which has provided an international framework for energy management systems in the same way that ISO9000 and ISO141001 have for quality and environmental management. To date over 7,000 organizations have become certified to ISO50001. This course will equip delegates with all the skills required to develop and implement an ISO50001 energy management system.
